Inspite of
being so important, Kushinagar the most sacred place of worship could not
develop much in importance as was needed to protect this holy place and
to contribute towards growth of its sanctity and importance. At the same
time, the geographical & social backwardness of the area also had a
major impact for the under development of the site.
Looking towards the
unexplored possibilities,IT developments all over world and the fire in
the hearts of a group of people aiming for the development of the area,a
team of young IT professionls took up the mission to work devotedly for
the all round development of kushinagar and to bring it on the world
map.The societies projects are to make dyanamic websites on Buddism,
provide free education to students in computer field, make colleges &
universities equipped with hightech training facilities and work for the
positive growth of the area and tourism.The society has
completed its first project: kushinagar.com very successfully and is
moving towards its new projects.
Incoming Projects:
The incoming project of the society will be another mega website; buddhistcircuit.net for which the initial planning has started. This website will cover entire Buddhist circuit and Buddhist Education in India with all details. Another project of the society in pipeline is establishment and running of advanced computer training institute at Kushinagar providing free computer education to Monks and at very subsidised rates to students. The above projects require a capital cost Rs. 1.5 Crores and the society is hopeful to generate the above funds through contributions from its esteemed members at the earliest.
